The Conservation Club was formed by the Department of Environment Studies in 2000-2001. It was an outcome of the department’s endeavor to nurture the spirit of enquiry for one’s surroundings.

A further extension of this noble attempt came in the form of the club’s annual festival-NISARG, in the year 2000-2001. The festival was a roaring success with numerous colleges from all over Navi Mumbai participating enthusiastically in the events.

This success was repeated on a much larger scale with a bigger & more fun filled festival-NISARG’02 on the 20th and 21st of December 2002. The festival received a wonderful response from each of the various colleges invited to be a part of it.

The Conservation Club is looking forward to much greater response from the student’s community for NISARG’03. The club has planned a new list of events, which promise to be a lively treat to the ever-enthusiastic audience.
